1. If you are experiencing problems with your vehicle, take it to the manufacturer's authorized dealership for repairs under the warranty. You do not have to go to the dealer that you purchased the vehicle from, you may go to any of that manufacturer's dealers.
2. DO NOT leave the dealership without a repair order or invoice. In many states, the dealer is required to give you a copy of the repair order by law.
3. Make sure that the repair order accurately reflects all of the complaints that you have regarding the vehicle.
4. Make sure that the repair order accurately reflects the dates that you dropped the vehicle off and picked it up.
5. Make sure that the repair order accurately reflects the mileage at drop off and the mileage at pick-up.
6. If the dealer is unable to resolve your problem(s), you should discuss the matter with the service manager.
7. If the service manager is unable to resolve your problem(s), you should contact the manufacturer either in writing or via the toll free number provided in your warranty booklet.
8. If you are unable to resolve your problems at that point, you should consult an experienced Lemon Law Attorney.
